PERSON-ell (Employee Labyrinth Luminosity) has been conceived and brought about to cater to the personnel assessment needs of a company like those in the corporate sector, schools and professional psychiatrists and psychologists.

Psychiatrists and Psychologists : To facilitate faster and error free administration of psychometric tests at the clinic itself with the psychiatrist or the psychologist having to waste no time in administration or calculation to get the final scores in objective tests like the 16PF and MMPI. In related subjective tests, the option to reach the calculative figure with the help of PERSON-ell’s Psychometric Analysis Toolkit (PAT), the option for the psychologist to enter his/her own remarks are made feasible. This will aid the psychologist in conducting more tests and also in utilizing the time available in doing what they are supposed to do – counseling or giving therapy.

Schools : To make mandatory and test every student for IQ levels and aptitude tests, to detect latent psychological problems and also rule out dyslexia or autistic problems in children.

Corporate Sector : The HR department at regular intervals assesses its employees for their qualities and according to their appraisal report promotes or designates the person with a post suitable for his capabilities. Lots of psychometric analysis tests are and should be resorted to for this appraisal report. Nowadays when these tests are conducted, they are mainly manual and are usually assessed by the HR department itself. The report generation time taken ranges anywhere from a week to month. Even if the tests are conducted by an outside firm, the time and cost factor weighs heavily on the company which then resorts to short cuts like the immediate senior level assessing their juniors on the basis of performance levels set by a standard format. However a lot of scope for errors in assessments and biased reports being created are a major hurdle, not withstanding the fact that most of the persons are not qualified and trained to assess individuals.

We plan to enhance the quality of the HR assessment by providing software, which will save the HR department time both at the testing and reporting levels. The tests can be run at the office of the company itself, the answers will be collected at the HR server and the answers uploaded to our web server at the discretion of the HR department. Once the answers are uploaded to our web server, the reports can be submitted from our end within 24 hours for a majority of the tests. The reports will be generated and duly attested by a clinical psychologist. WE shall also provide hard copies of the reports for every individual employee. Each test will be incorporated into a CD that will be sold to the company. Each CD will have a certain number of tests running facilities (say 100 tests, 500 tests etc) predetermined by the order or the number of tests that the company would want. The reports can be accessed at a later stage at any point of time. WE also plan to introduce packages like a “Basic Profile Package” with add on tests like Motivational qualities test, Leadership qualities tests, Creativity tests etc at a later stage.
